TRAINING AND MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT  

As an accredited post-graduate trainer for psychiatric Residency, the hospital takes in doctors for the six-year training on a yearly basis.

Medical students from all over the country also come for one research, training or the other while Nurses from various nursing institutions are also posted here for clinical experience.

We also accept for training students in professions such as pharmacy, clinical psychology, medical laboratory, social work, EEG, Health Service Administration and the like.

On the International scene, students from overseas also come for research on various psychiatric subjects. And locally too, students from various Universities, Polytechnics and even Colleges are referred here for various trainings and research.

Management has also invested much in the training of its personnel in the onerous task of qualitative health care delivery. The training cuts across all professionals, from the consultants, to pharmacists; psychologists, social workers, nurses, laboratory scientists, radiologists, health record officers, to administrators, accountants, auditors, secretaries and up to the non-professionals for acquisition of basic skills.

Because of the belief that an organization strength lies in its human resources, training and re-training have always been given utmost importance, in order to be able to give the best to the public.
