MALE WARD 4B
The ward is headed by ADNS Taiwo.
Male ward 4B was formerly known as Female ward 4. It is now a short stay ward of 37 beds. In adherence to Covid-19 precautions, 50% spacing of the beds are ensured.
The ward admits acute, chronic and organic cases alongside Mental and Behavioural Disorders.
Patients are admitted for two (2) weeks period (Covid-19 precautions) before being transferred to Long stay ward or discharged to OPC.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDES:
- Handing and taking over of patients and ward items.
- Health talk
- Serving of meals and drugs.
- Physical and oral care.
- Daily reviewof patients/writing of notes.
- Psychoeducation, Counselling etc.
- Ensuring diversionary therapy e.g indoor games in collaboration with the Occupational therapist.
- Care of patients who needs assistance to carry out the activities of daily living.
- Ensuring weekly ward environmental sanitation.
- Ensuring continuous compliance with Covid-19 precautions.
- Safe keeping of all hospital materials and records.
- Checking of vital signs and obtrusive and unobtrusive observation of patients.
