Administrative Nursing

Administrative Nursing, consist of the Deputy directors and Assistant directors in Nursing and they are charged with administrative responsibilities, as well as harmonization of the two bodies with other health team members in ensuring quality health care services and glorification of the hospital.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE NURSING

 

• To promote and maintain all hospital policies and practices for quality assurance

• To formulate and embrace Nursing Care policies those ensures quality care delivery and are in conformity with best global practice

• To promote studies and research in nursing practices, reporting and utilizing findings as appropriate and to effect maximum utilization of personnel

• Ensuring and promoting the welfare of nursing staff by initiating and maintaining policies that enables the employees to attain an optimal level in providing quality care services

• Instill and promotes discipline, professional ethics and self – comportment, as well as uplifting Nursing Image

• Organizes Scientific Sessions and Seminar/workshop for nurses on regular bases to keep them abreast with international standard

• To appraise all the factors contributing either negatively or positively to the nursing care of patients and respond as appropriate
